Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley, has been frequently linked with Catherine, Princess of Wales. Since Anmer Hall, the Wales’ country residence, is close to the Cholmondeleys’ home, Houghton Hall, the two women had the opportunity to cultivate a friendship.
