VIDEO: Colorado Players Finally Break Their Silence Following Reports That Deion Sanders Forced Them To Attend Hip-Hop Concert Featuring His Son & Lil Wayne 😱
Colorado players have spoken out in defense of head coach Deion Sanders following reports of the former cornerback forcing his athletes to attend a concert where his son Shedeur was performing.
Athlon Sports recently reported that multiple players left the program after being told they would be cut if they didn’t attend the event
The story sounded too wild to be true at the time, and members of the team, including Shedeur himself, have branded it as false.
The CU quarterback dismissed the report in a video shared to social media by his brother, Deion Sanders Jr., claiming they didn’t even know he would be opening the concert.
Several other players were asked about this, and many of them said they didn’t attend or that attendance wasn’t mandatory.
