Travis Kelce Made Notable Appearance Without Taylor Swift for Good Reason

Earlier this week news broke that the homes of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were broken into while the Kansas City Chiefs stars were busy with a game against the New Orleans Saints last month.

Thankfully everyone was just fine, but Kelce had $20,000 in cash and more in jewelry stolen from his house. Following the break ins, Mahomes reportedly “beefed up” security at his home while his gated community did the same.

After the news broke, Kelce reportedly made his first public appearance at a concert on Wednesday night. According to a report from TMZ, the Chiefs star tight end was at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City to see artist Jelly Roll perform.

His girlfriend, Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift wasn’t with him, but she had a good excuse for missing the show. Swift is back on the road for her Eras Tour, which continues tonight from the Rogers Centre in Toronto

While Swift prepares for a few concerts in Canada, Kelce is busy preparing for a battle against the Buffalo Bills. Ironically, she’ll be very close to Buffalo when the game is taking place, which led fans to wonder if it was all part of a plan by the NFL.

That was not the case apparently. “Completely unintentional,” a league source told Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

Will Swift be in attendance at the game? Jones believes so, but nothing has been confirmed.

“Though nothing has been confirmed in NFL circles yet, the expectation is Swift will attend Highmark Stadium on Sunday for the game, one day after she will have played three consecutive shows in Toronto,” he said.
