Taylor Swift swallows bug in Milan, leaves audience feeling like they’re ‘The 1’
Taylor Swift left the crowd in Milan, Italy thinking they were “the 1” after her acoustic set.
In a sleek sunrise orange dress, Swift grabbed her guitar and stepped up to the microphone.
“I try to challenge myself to do things I’ve never done before or songs I haven’t played for a long time,” she said to the sold-out San Siro Stadium in Italy’s fashion capital
I’ve never done this one in the acoustic section before so …” Swift said strumming “The 1.” The track was a part of year one of the Eras Tour and served as the opening number to the “Folklore” era. When Swift scrambled her show in Paris and combined “Folklore” and “Evermore” into one set, “Cardigan” became the opener.
Before she could begin her piano selection, the Italian audience chanted, “Sei bellisima,” which translates to “you’re very beautiful.”
Speechless, Swift cupped her mouth and said: “Wow, no one has ever been this nice to me in my entire life.”
