Queen Camilla lets slip 10-word remark about escaping Royal Family drama at Wimbledon
Queen Camilla appeared to let slip an 10-word remark about escaping the Royal Family’s ongoing drama at Wimbledon on July 9.
The Queen – who will celebrate her 77th birthday next week – was joined by her sister Annabel as the pair paid a special visit to the annual tennis event on Wednesday
Camilla got to watch the quarter-final action from the Centre Court on the 10th day of the event, and was dressed for her day out in a cream linen dress featuring large giraffe motifs.
After arriving at the championships, Camilla met former player Laura Robson. Upon speaking to Laura, the Queen appeared to tell her how her day was going and that it was “so nice to be able to escape for a day”.
The Queen was also able to meet a fellow Camila, in the form of the Mexican doubles player Santiago Gonzalez’s young daughter
