Prince Harry’s Friend Nacho Figueras Says Netflix ‘Polo’ Docuseries ‘Is Not About’ Them
Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras is putting some distance between himself and Polo, Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries. The professional polo player said he, along with the Duke of Sussex, 40, aren’t the show’s main focus.
Figueras discussed the upcoming Polo docuseries Harry’s producing for Netflix as part of his and Meghan Markle’s partnership with the streamer at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. He told People he only “help[ed]” with the show.
“Look, to me, it’s an honor to do anything with him,” Figueras said of Harry. “He’s a dear friend. This is more his project than it is mine. It’s an honor to know that I was able to help.”
Figueras went on to seemingly reference a report the focus of Polo is him instead of Harry (more on that in a bit). “And the show is not about me. It’s not about him…So we’ve been working very hard on it and we’re very excited about the outcome.”

Noting he’s spent his “entire life” waiting for a polo docueries, Figueras shared that he hopes Polo will follow in the footsteps of Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
“You know, the behind-the-scenes, kind of like what Drive to Survive did for Formula 1. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens…Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a, hopefully, longer series that will expose our sport to millions of people
