A Royal commentator has suggested that Prince Harry has “finally” realised why his meetings with King Charles are kept short, hinting that trust issues might be at play

Speaking on Palace Confidential from the Daily Mail, Charlotte Griffiths stated that the brief duration of the meetings between the Duke of Sussex and Charles may stem from the monarch’s lack of trust in him.

This revelation emerges amid the ongoing debate regarding Prince Harry’s security after he stepped away from Royal duties in 2020, which entailed the loss of police protection and subsequent court battles to reinstate it, along with reported appeals to his father for assistance.

Charlotte observed: “He seemed to think his father could click his fingers and make it all go away and just give him security, he didn’t realise how much nuance there was.”

It appears Harry may recognise that to mend ties with his father, a different strategy might be called for, as Charlotte added: “I get the impression that the penny might have finally dropped because we’re hearing more and more mood music from the Sussexes that Harry wants to communicate with his father and is realising why, when he sees his father, the meetings are so short if they happen at all.”
