Cuffing season may technically be over (the slang term refers to the period of time between October and Valentine’s Day, when single people search for romantic partners to brave the colder months with), but romance is forever. And if you have a hot date on the horizon and are interested in some fashion inspiration, look no further than Sofía Vergara.

The Griselda star was seen stepping out Saturday night in Los Angeles in a romantic monochromatic black ensemble that gave us butterflies. Vergara looked lovely in a figure-hugging midi dress that featured a band detail along her torso that highlighted her tightly cinched waist and flirty lace accents along the hem, bodice, and low-cut neckline. She kept the dark theme going with a long wool overcoat draped over her shoulders, strappy velvet platform pumps with an open-toe design, and a sleek clutch bag. She accessorized with layers of gold bracelets, a massive emerald ring, a dainty chain necklace, and small hoop earrings. For beauty, Vergara glammed up with a sultry smoky eye, fluttery eyelashes, peachy-pink blush, and a matte berry lip, while styling her hair down and straight with a middle part.

The Modern Family actor recently opened up about getting back into the dating scene following her split from Joe Manganiello. She discussed her love for New York City while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, noting how she feels the concrete jungle offers more expansive options when it comes to men.

“I’m single now, so in New York there are more people,” she told Fallon. “There’s not only actors or writers or directors; I think there’s a bigger [pool]. I’m going to spend more time in New York.”

That may be true, but that hasn’t stopped Vergara from enjoying a night out with good company in L.A., where she lives most of the time. Last month, she was seen having dinner with surgeon Justin Saliman. For the outing, she served up more date night inspo, this time for those who prefer pants to dresses. Vergara once again embraced a dark palette in a sheer black bustier top with spaghetti straps, matching straight-leg slacks, another long dress coat, and platform heels.
