LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese shares story in Women’s Health magazine

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – LSU’s Angel Reese is on her fourth magazine cover. She talked about that accomplishment on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Reese graces the cover of “Women’s Health” and “opens up about her year in the spotlight,” according to the magazine.

In the article, the women’s basketball star talks about how “every January, she mounts a vision board on her wall.” In 2023, she envisioned goals like a modeling career and six-figure earnings. She accomplished those goals.
he also spoke about her journey from Maryland to LSU and how being in the spotlight affects her mental health and has shaped her college experience.

“If I pick up this cup and it has water in it, people think it’s tequila. If I’m speaking to a friend, a guy, people think we’re dating… It is overwhelming for me. I can’t really enjoy myself how I want to enjoy myself and have fun how I want to have fun,” she said.
Shaquille O’Neal said she’s a leader in the sport.

“Man or woman, in my opinion, there isn’t a player out there who’s impacted the game as much as Angel has this last year,” he said
