King Charles has one royal he can trust to find out how ‘estranged’ son Prince Harry is doing

Prince Harry’s ongoing feud with the royal family has left many of his relationships with members of the Firm hanging by a thread. However, despite the bitter rift, one royal seems to have become a key ally for both Harry and wife Meghan Markle – Princess Eugenie, who is believed to be one of the only ones to visit them at their home in Montecito, California.

Princess Eugenie has always had a close relationship with her older cousin Harry, and it’s reported that the Sussexes have purchased a holiday property in Portugal near a house owned by Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank. With Harry and Eugenie’s bond still seemingly strong, one expert believes she could play a crucial role in fostering reconciliation between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK!: “Eugenie undoubtedly does have something of a challenge on her hands to maintain good relationships with both Harry and Meghan – and the rest of the royal family.”

But I think the King is probably happy that Harry still has at least one royal cousin he clearly trusts, and presumably wants to see more of. The family are all so busy that they don’t really see that much of one another,” reports the Mirror.

Jennie suggests that Eugenie could be a key figure for her uncle, King Charles. She remarked: “However, I think it’s a positive thing that Charles does have someone he can quietly ask about Harry’s well-being if he is so inclined. And Harry can presumably gauge the mood of the family via Eugenie.”

That royal shift apparently cemented a very special bond between Prince George and his great-grandmother, as he eventually gave her a sweet nickname that nobody else was allowed to use.George is only 2-and-a-half and calls her ‘gan-gan.’ She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows, I think, her love for her family,” Middleton explained in Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute, a BBC documentary about the queen that aired in 2016.In a special Christmas message that the late queen gave after George’s arrivaal, she paid tribute to the future monarch, saying: “Here at home my own family is a little larger this Christmas. As so many of you will know, the arrival of a baby gives everyone the chance to contemplate the future with renewed happiness and hope.”
