TAYLOR Swift had gone to support her professional footballer boyfriend alongside Ice Spice and the Haim sisters.

To her shock, the 14-time Grammy Award winner faced a chilly reception at the game in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.

Why was Taylor Swift booed at the Super Bowl game?
Taylor had gone to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs played against the Philadelphia Eagles and lost 40-22.

Every time Taylor was shown on the jumbotron she received a chorus of boos from Eagles fans signaling their disapproval of her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The Super Bowl WAG was booed for a good 10 seconds but failed to realize what was going on initially.

However, even Donald Trump was privy to Taylor’s taunts with the President going as far as to troll her.

Once she realized, her face said it all.

Sat in her VIP box, she glanced at her pal, Ice Spice, and smiled awkwardly.

Wearing a white top and sparkling blue denim shorts, Taylor gave the camera a side-eye and said: “Wait, what is going on?”

The National Football League shared the video without the audio, while it’s said Travis felt “helpless” in the moment.

“Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him,” a source told the Mail.

“He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help.”

Celebrity reaction
Serena Williams was quick to defend Taylor on social media.

She took to X, formerly known as Twitter and wrote: “I love you @taylorswift 13 don’t listen to those boos!!!”

Meanwhile Donald Trump, who received a warm welcome from the crowd posted: “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed.

He added: “The world is healing!”
Meanwhile, Kanye West has also deleted his account from X after posting a rant about Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl.

While appearing to be talking about Lamar’s song “Not Like Us” he said: “IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE.”

Taylor seemed unbothered by the comments and booing and is yet to react on socials.
