After Her Own Cancer Diagnosis, Sarah Ferguson Gives Update on How Kate Middleton Is Doing

Two royals received tough news about their health earlier this year as both King Charles and the Princess of Wales (formerly as known as Kate Middleton) were diagnosed with cancer and began chemotherapy.

But they weren’t the only royals to hear they had cancer this year. Prince Andrew‘s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. She underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery and then around the same time the king and Kate were hospitalized in early 2024, the Duchess of York was given the news that she had malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer.

Since then, Sarah has been on a mission reminding others not to skip their screenings and medical appointments. Fergie was also asked how the Princess of Wales has been doing lately. Here’s what the duchess said about that and where Kate was just spotted.
