Andy Reid has offered his insights on why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce work as a couple, with the Chiefs coach explaining that the relationship is an ‘escape’ for both of them.

Since they starting dating publicly last fall, Swift and Kelce have been fixtures at each other’s games and concerts respectively, and Reid believes they’ve both enjoyed being in the background at times

I said that about Taylor too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show. And when he goes to her concerts, she’s the star and he can be hanging out there and be the support or the waterboy.’

Travis has been following Taylor through Europe this offseason on her Eras Tour, with the Chiefs tight end even joining her onstage at Wembley Stadium in London
