Prince Harry and Meghan Markle LIVE: Sussexes in a ‘very sorry mess’ with royals
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned that they are in a “very sorry mess” over one “fundemental issue” as the rift with the Royal Family continues.
Talk TV’s royal editor Sarah Hewson claimed that Meghan has no “desire” to return to the UK to reunite with her in-laws, despite Prince Harry returning recently to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Despite landing at Heathrow Airport before heading to Nigeria, Meghan has not spent any real time in the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
Hewson called the whole thing a “very sorry mess”, pinpointing the lack of trust between the Sussexes and the Firm as “the fundamental issue” in why there has been no reconciliation.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were caught awkwardly smiling after a brutal joke by their friend Serena Williams.
They were all in attendance at Thursday night’s ESPY Awards, where Harry was receving the Pat Tillman Award for Service.
After asking the audience to give them a warm reception, Williams said: “But please, Harry and Meghan, try not to breathe too much tonight.
“Because this is my night and I don’t want to be overshadowed by accusations you guys are taking up too much oxygen.”
The couple took the joke well and were seen laughing when the camera panned to them in the audience
