Meghan Markle scolded over ‘laughable’ Lilibet claim: ‘Said it with a straight face!’

A royal commentator has slammed Meghan after she told a “laughable” story about her daughter Lillibet.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just wrapped up a tour of Nigeria and their first stop on the trip was a school in the capital of Abuja, which is being supported by the couple’s Archwell Foundation.

She told them: “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys. She’s about to turn three. And a few weeks ago she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. And she [goes], ‘Mama, I see me in you

She added: “What is the point of this trip? She spent the whole time talking about herself. It is laughable.”

She also discussed Harry’s behaviour at the same event and slammed the duke for inspecting the Nigerian troops, despite being stripped of his royal titles.

She said: “It is so laughable and further diminishes Harry in the eyes of the royals and the world.
