Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spotted on double date with famous couple after day packed with Invictus Games events…..see more

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had quite the Saturday while in Vancouver, Canada.
After a day filled with events for the Invictus games, the couple were spotted dining with Canadian singer Michael Buble and his wife Luisana Lopilato at Indian restaurant Vij’s, which is owned by chef Vikram Vij.
It isn’t the first time the two couples have gone on a double date and visited Vij’s, as they also visited the location during last year’s Invictus Games.
“Meghan is awesome and loved all the food.
She remembered the chilis from last time, and I was totally impressed because she knew bhindi is the Hindi word for okra,” Vikram told Hello!.
He also discovered that during both her pregnancies, Meghan’s biggest craving was Indian food.
“Meghan said that during her pregnancy, she had eaten only Indian food, and I told her it was the best thing for her,” Vikram added.
Sussexes and Vikram have a strong relationship
Meghan made headlines the last time she visited Vikram’s restaurant as she revealed she is a big fan of spice, even asking him to “turn up the heat”.
At that time Vikram told CTV News that the couple have very different levels of tolerance to spice, as Meghan had ordered the spiciest dish on the menu while Harry found it to be a little spicy.
“He actually himself said, “Do you know I’m a ginger? Which means when I eat spicy food, I get red?,” he added.
The Sussexes and Vikram go back as he cooked for them during their 2016 trip to Canada, when they ate his coconut vegetable curry, a dish William said was “the right level of spice for me.”
As for Vikram, he was clearly happy to have his restaurant full of VIPs on Saturday as he took to Instagram to show his joy.
“Another incredible night at Vij’s,” he wrote.
“When food brings people together, magic happens! We were honoured to once again welcome Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Michael Bublé, and Luisana Lopilato for another unforgettable evening at Vij’s.
“Sharing great conversation, incredible flavours, and the joy of coming together – this is what dining is all about!
“A special night made even more meaningful as we celebrate the opening of the 2025 Invictus Games-a powerful tribute to resilience, courage, and the human spirit.”
