PATRICK Mahomes and co. are trying to get his dad to pull out of a publicly broadcasted fight.

Pat Mahomes Sr. and ex-MLB star John Rocker got into a public beef at the Super Bowl that has escalated much further.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has announced that Mahomes and Rocker will face off in a boxing match.

Portnoy made it known that Barstool-owned fighting ring Rough N Rowdy would host the contest between the two.

The beef stems from a squabble on Bourbon Street where Mahomes and Rocker got heated in public.

Rocker attempted to shake Mahomes’ hand, but it was smacked away, setting off an argument.

The two shouted insults at each other, with Mahomes calling Rocker a “menace to society.”

With the location of the original scuffle in mind, Portnoy titled the bout the “Beef on Bourbon Street,” and announced it would headline the Rough N Rowdy’s card on April 18.

“I guess they f***ing hated each other since their playing days, baseball,” Portnoy said on social media.

“I mean, I guess not surprising. Everyone has beef with John Rocker.
But they signed the f***ing paperwork.”

Portnoy also took a moment to call out the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback for his hatred of Barstool.

“Well, now your dad’s fighting in our company against John Rocker,” Portnoy said.

“So I’ll save a seat.

Free of charge.”

Rocker is already talking smack on social media, and is claiming that people close to Mahomes are trying to convince him to pull out of the fight.

“Hearing Pat Mahomes Jr’s team of woke suits is trying to dissuade Pat Sr from fighting me,” he wrote.

“Why don’t we sweeten the pot. I will put a percentage of my purse towards a charity my X followers choose.

“Mahomes Sr will put a percentage of his purse towards his sons charity.”

If the fight does go on, it probably won’t be the best boxing anyone has ever viewed.

Both Mahomes and Rocker are 50-year-old men and well past their playing days.
