People are questioning why Donald Trump left Super Bowl so early after it cost $20 million for him to attend… see more

THE mystery surrounding the sudden disappearance of President Donald Trump at half-time during the Super Bowl has finally been solved.

It was all in aid of football fans watching the hotly contested clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Trump raised eyebrows and sparked suspicion after he left the championship at the Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, on Sunday.

The Independent newspaper in the UK wrote the headline, “Trump leaves Super Bowl early after backing the losing team.”

“The president was pictured getting back onboard Air Force One more than an hour before the conclusion of the Big Game,” the paper wrote.

Meanwhile, Lad Bible wrote, “People are questioning why Donald Trump left Super Bowl so early after it cost $20 million for him to attend.”

The website also spotlighted how much was spent on Trump’s attendance.

“It is estimated that the President of the United States spent between $15 million and $20 million due to the cost of secret service, and air travel and motorcade, as well as local law enforcement and improvements to stadium security,” the site reported.

Lad Bible also cited a POTUS flight tracker showing him departing at about 8 pm local time, around about the time Lamar performed the halftime show.

Trump made history by becoming the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl.

Trump, 78, arrived in New Orleans shortly before kick-off and shook hands with players and local police.

But Trump reportedly left early at halftime while the Chiefs were down 24-0.

Green and white confetti plummeted from the ceiling as the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 in the first Super Bowl to be held in New Orleans in a dozen years.

However, according to the White House, Trump didn’t storm off in a huff after the Chiefs’ loss.

The Independent and other publications have since noted that Trump was keeping to a tight and previously released schedule.

A Whitehouse spokesperson told The Independent that Trump had always planned to leave the event early.

They also provided a copy of his schedule, which proved he was due to leave the venue at 8:05 p.m.

Penn Live carried a similar story, confirming that Trump was “always supposed to leave before the game was over.”

It added: “The daily press schedule released Sunday morning stated that Trump would leave the Superdome in New Orleans shortly after 8 p.m., just before halftime.

“Pool reporter S.V. Dáte from the Huffington Post stated Trump’s motorcade departed the Superdome just before 8 p.m.”

He also reportedly left early to help football fans who would otherwise have suffered a hectic departure from the venue.

New Orleans was already under tight security ahead of the game, with heavily armed soldiers, SWAT teams, and federal agents patrolling the city.

It would have been “a logistical nightmare to leave a major sporting event for most people – it’s even worse when you toss the president into the mix,” Penn Live reported.

Trump’s schedule shows that early Sunday, he left Mar-a-Lago for his golf club to play a round with Tiger Woods.

Woods and his son, Charlie, played golf with Trump in Florida.
Trump then departed Palm Beach International Airport to New Orleans while accompanied by the press.

While on board Air Force One, he told them, “We’re flying over a thing called the Gulf of America, and I’m signing a proclamation that perhaps you could define that.”

He signed the proclamation on what he called his “first visit to the Gulf of America since its renaming [from Gulf of Mexico].”

Trump’s lengthy day ended back at the White House around midnight.
